Best Trans Temp Gauge? Plus other ???

    I recently picked up a Veepeak OBDII dongle, and use the OBDFusion app. Cost me $40. Pulling my camper and all my crap, maybe 4500lbs, I don’t think I broke 150*.

    Granted this is hardly a workout for my truck, but I got a $40 trans temp gauge, that does other stuff too.

    I wouldn't worry about trans temps when its freezing out either.
    Here in AZ, where its 110+ every day in the summer, I worry about heat lol.

    ERR - that was 30 Celsius or 86 Fahrenheit.

    Pulled the camper again last week. 3hrs on the highway to NH. Ambient temps were in the 90s. Coolant temps reached 230* at points due to an unresolved cooling system issue. The highest the trans ever saw was 200*. I was happy to have The ability to monitor trans temps on this trip.
