I didn’t forget about you, I’ve been really busy lately. I’ll get that stuff boxed up and heading your way this week or next.

Column tomorrow, then back to working on the exterior harness.

Cab floor is rusted on the drivers side so I won’t be able to save any sheet metal for ol basket case. Roof line is gross too so can’t use any of that on the GMC.

Once the dash and interior harness are out I’m going to begin cutting the cab apart. Saving the B pillar body line to graft onto a crew cab someday.

From there it’s a trip to the dump to dispose the old sheet metal, and a trip to my friends to begin turning it into a trailer. Will probably hammer out some dents and patch some of the bigger rust holes in the bed just so I don’t get any glares from the DMV.

Also if this turns out to have a FF with slip off drums, I’m robbing that and putting it under my 454 truck. This trailer would get the non G80 FF from that truck or the 9.5SF from basket case.

Lots of work for a parts truck.

Yup, but better in your yard/driveway than at the yards.....

Thank you!

Interior is getting pretty bare! What’s the going rate for a full interior harness? I’m going to keep the dome light and PW/PL harness but sell the rest. The dash is in pretty bad shape but I just can’t junk it.

The plan is to repair all the cracks, re-skin it, and then install dash savers in place of the broken tabs in the defrost section. I’ll likely keep it as a decent spare.
