Hey everyone i am new to the bagged truck seen and taking my first project on. It is a 98 c1500 rclb with the 4.3l. I haven’t seen much on long bed builds so i decided i would try it out. Initially i did a 4/6 drop and of course once it was done i wanted to go lower. So i bought a 4 link kit with panhard bar. So far all i have is the front done and I’ve been piecing together info from this forum.

The main question i have with plumbing is i want to run my manifold in the cab, away from the weather. I know this will require me to run 6 airlines into the cab. Just trying to see if anyone has done this and where the best spot would be.

Most manifolds can handle the elements but-different spots beside the typical bed placement would be Under the hood in the spot for the utility box/second battery, or

In the cab behind the seat or center console would also work, just be prepared to put a muffler on it so it’s not so loud or route the exhaust tubing back out of the cabj. If you use a manual manifold like little Larry’s four play just put it somewhere within easy reach.

Use 1/8” for gauges to save some space

Yeah i just figured I’d put it inside the cab either under or behind the seat. I planned on running the exhaust tubing back outside to just dump underneath the truck. I might look into the engine bay though as a possible idea.

If you are gonna use the truck in cold (sub freezing) weather then inside the cab is beneficial, other than that outside is fine. Mine is under the cab, but I don't daily the truck.

I like the progress you're making, did you 6 lug swap it or run adapters? Grille looks dope blacked out.

Lately this year it’s been hovering around freezing during the winters. I love up in Portland Oregon. And i will most likely daily this thing once it’s done.

And thanks! I did the light duty c2500 hub/rotors up front for the 6 lug swap. And in the rear it’s getting a 14 bolt SF with disc brake conversion from an 01 Tahoe. I plan on LS swapping this thing so it’ll be ready to handle it when i get there.

Then yeah, in the cab and vent the exhaust. Also run an easily accessible drain on your tank(s).

Nice work on the axles. I see the crash cage on the bike too...

Yeah i was just looking for ideas on the best way to run the lines into the cab.

And Yeah i have a little but of everything from a mk4 gli pushing 22psi of boost to a nbs lifted 13”. Also have 2 zx6r’s (1 for stunting) and a bobber in progress in the back corner. That’s why i decided to take on this bagged lifestyle and try it out lol.
