It's been a while, so here's an update.

We're still "no stock".

So now it's 2025 (although there was little business activity until Jan6) and Carlos needs to get in touch with the distributor for an update.

Carlos, though, has been away from home (Jacobina) since Dec30 to spend time with family in Salvador. He told me he'll be back to Jacobina around Jan12 and hopefully he'll receive some good news from the distributor after his return.

I will keep folks advised, particularly once we get promising news.

Just a question, how does Carnaval affect the company that makes/distributes these parts?

I know there is a recess during Carnival, but I don't know how this affects (our supplier’s) company, I need to have this information.

I had wondered, because I have heard/read that the Carnaval season is a VERY big deal in certain areas of Brazil, and that many companies at least partially shut down during this time. Sort of like in France, where the whole country would be on vacation in August (either at the first or last two weeks). Thanks!
