They look very handy to me, EXCEPT...

They probably aren't as strong as regular *****. I think I'd try a pair of regulars with some kind of wedge underneath for hard pulls. Or maybe a claw hammer.

I have the professional version of this from Dent Fix. https://www.dentfix.com/shop-1/Multi-Clip-Pliers-p85040606
It is another tool in the toolbox, handy in some situations. I do not have one at home. At work I run across a lot of fasteners from many car companies and there have been times this tool works better than others. I do not remember which clips I used it on, it is not used daily. It is not designed for cutting steel. The holes allow you to grip the tool firmly without cutting the clip. The angle is better than what you would get by filing a hole in a *****, helping with hand clearance and leverage if using the tool itself as a fulcrum.

If I was looking for one best universal clip tool I would choose the middle two of this set(yeh, I know I said 1):

I have that set at work and like it so much I bought this for at home: https://www.dentfix.com/shop-1/Clip-Lifter-7-p65881349

I should have bought this: https://www.dentfix.com/shop-1/XL-Clip-Lifter-Kit-p88046740

Cheap tools will bend, yes, plastic clips will bend cheap metal tools.

BTW, that pliers type like in the first post will not remove the fasteners that look like a Phillips head screw in the middle. They are not a screw, you need something pointed to dig in and lift the center pin. The amazon link shows it lifting one which is deceiving.
