Alternator excite wire

I bought the different regulator and soldered it in position. I will admit I was scared, but it’s been well over six months and many miles, no problems.

OIC. it is a modification to the alt. I already ordered the painless pigtail. Ill just have to wire up the resistor. No big deal.

Yeah its not hard at all, a few nuts to loosen and some heat to remove the original solder/ regulator, and some new solder to put on with the new regulator.

Yeah I wouldn't have a problem making that modification, seems straight forward, but I've got to get it taken care of this weekend.
