Aftermarket center consoles

Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket center consoles? There are quite a few at Summit Racing, but I have no idea how nice they are.
Anyone have experience or recommendations to pass along?

I would think for that price you could be halfway to a custom one built by a stereo shop

Most of those are geared toward “car” seat heights. You’ll want take some measurements and/or duplicate their console in CAD (cardboard aided design) Probably wouldn’t be an issue if you have seats with fold down armrests. My only experience aftermarket consoles are those super cheap plastic ones you can get at Walmart. Building a console is a good skill building experience.

Mine is a 93 C1500. I guess it's pretty much the same as the 95+ trucks.

I guess I could always go the the pick and pull and see what they have. Or look on eBay and see what people are offering.

I built mine out of aluminum stock and panels. Only thing I wish I added was a rear storage compartment.

Bought this ex-Arm/,Police/Sheriff's M1009. It got around before I got it.
It had some special things including this custom console.
