I installed 2173209 in my stock 5.7 98 C1500 ext cab. Works like a champ!

Going by Amazon reviews/questions the cheaper part number is reboxed Delphi units with a bracket and gasket, the other is actual AC Delco so probably no difference.

I just did the ac delco from Amazon. it was 300 something and i got there CC so saved 100. Not using there CC though i like 0 balances. Runs smother and a little peppier. I did just to be done with an upgrade.
