ABS/Low speed lock up

GM had a TSB on low-speed lockup. Not sure if it was your issue, but if someone else runs across the thread it may be something to look into.

GM had a TSB on low-speed lockup.

That is not low-speed lockup, it's low speed ABS activation. The ABS thinks the wheels are locking up, when they are not. The result is that you can't stop at low speeds very well... the truck keep rolling even though you're on the brake.

I have the lockup issue, but only on the rear drums.. Any idea? Usually happens when it rains when I first start driving my truck.

This same problem is what started my brake overhaul. I now have a rear disc conversion, willwood proportioning valve, stainless steel lines, new front calipers...

My brakes are now pretty awesome! It was a lot of work and expensive though - almost cost me as much as one monthly payment on a new truck. ;)
