Got in 3 full days of work this weekend. I have had this truck for 10 years, and never had the starter off. And it never failed to start either, so somehow the starter was broken but still worked. There was often a chirping sound from the trans area for years, which I feared was a cracked flex plate, but now I realize was the chunk rubbing against the starter gear.

What is this seal called where the cv shaft goes through the knuckle? I searched ebay on every word combo I could think of, but found nothing specifically for the cv shaft seal.

Does anyone know what this connector is for on the back of my power steering pump?

Ok cool, is it supplying 12v, or is it reporting back to the ecm?

That's weird, I don't have keyless entry. What does it do?

When I changed my PS pump I got one without the EVO, tapped this connector up and out of the way. Didn’t notice any difference in steering without EVO.
