Things get weird for the last few years of the generation. Is the '99 manual you're looking at for C/K trucks (GMT400) or Silverado (GMT800) ? Both extant at the time and the source of much confusion when buying parts or looking up service info. What compounds the confusion are last-minute design changes that may not have filtered down into the available information.

It's the GMT-400 manuals. I attempted to join the gmt800.com forums to try to find the 2000 GMT-800 FSMs, but I can never get it to send a confirmation email. I also had a lot of trouble getting this forum to send me one. Not sure why, the emails are going to a gmail account, and they're not getting filtered or moved to spam.
