This is by no mean going to be a show truck, as this truck is by no means rust free.

Its grade A for the rust belt, but its got rust issues with the bottoms of the doors, a bit starting around one of the wheel wells, and a bit in the rockers.

I'm also going to paint it with the screwed up rear door since I can't seem to finger a solid one anywhere around me ( I should have bought that door off that Tahoe when I had the chance).

Anyways, I'm going to sandblast and fiberglass all this **** since I don't really have that large of a budget for this job.

I got the quarter in its first coat of primer to see where I'm at with it.

It needs to get blocked again, and it's got some low spots that need filled up some more. Though it is looking pretty straight overall.

Be sure to take your time with it. I cut 2 corners on my 2 door . one dent at the right rear corner and the other a slight wave on the tail gate. IT DRIVES ME ******* CRAZY. I also and still say its no show truck but after all the work I put into it I can't stand it. Im actually going to do it over this winter (if I get the time)

I decided to say to hell with some of those hail dents since I'm probably going to be running this thing through hail regularly.

I know that rear door is going to drive me crazy, but I might as well paint it now since it wouldn't be too much trouble to paint the new doors (when I find them) after the fact.

When it's all said and done, it will set me back about $446 (Employee discount) for a single stage enamel on everything but the roof.

I would go with base clear, but that's more than double the price.

She goes in Monday, and will be done by the end of the week, so I got some things I want done so it's ready to go.

I restored the parking lights as well as this ****** chevy badge that I painted twice.

Instead of spending two dollars on a new one, I sanded off all the paint with some 400 on the DA, then stripped all the **** out from the inside until it was clear.

I then sprayed some of this testers metallic lacquer in the inside and finished it off by clearing the oustide.

Oh yea, the new side molding came yeaterday as well. All I'm waiting on now is the silverado badges.

I've been this weekend, and I decided to replicate the Busurban.

From the quads to the hubcaps, and even the strip of reflective tape on the rear bumper.

I also 3d modeled the yellow truck and even the tornado intercept vehicle and put them in the game.
