I feel like the only thing I ever do now is body work.

I woke up at 6AM, went to work and spent 10 hours scuffing and masking cars.

I get home, start on the Burb.

Then my brothers friend comes in with his GT 350 mustang, and I proceed to pop out the dent on his fender, and paint it so it doesn't rust.

I then paint the Burb.

And then it all starts over again in the morning. Why do I enjoy body work so much?

Barn door is a such a win loose here. Win in that you don't have to fix/replace a full width tailgate but loose in that being half the size there's significantly more deformation. What's your plan going forward?
I'm probably going to just pick up another door at a junkyard.

I might even do it today since it's my day off. I'm probably going to have to cut the hinges on the junkyard door I realize.

So the door got so crushed that it wouldn't open.

I tried pushing it out from behind, but the brace was bent, so I ended up welding a chain to it and yanking her with O'l yeller.

It opens now, so im going to see how straight I can get it then probably repaint it for now.

I pulled a couple more spots, then gave it a coat of paint.

I'm going to wetsand and buff the quarter as soon as the paint is cured.

I just wetsanded it down with some 800, then buffed it, and it looks great.
