Hi guys! If you have swapped a LS1 computer into your truck you will need the computer custom tuned! At the very least the anti-theft system needs to be disabled and in many swaps the emissions equipment does not carry over so we have to delete all the codes for that permanently. Also many of you have custom engine parts, exhaust, wheels etc which all need to be accounted for in your tune.

I am a LSX specialist tuner based out of MA, I use a Mustang load bearing dyno to build my tunes and get real world data that I use to build my tunes for remote customers. I sell the MJE AutoCal which allows me to scan and tune any GM vehicle anywhere in the world!

We can also tune the 98-00 black box truck computers!

I'm offering a $40 discount on any of my products or services to all members of this site!

Check out my web site for more information or feel free to call 508.320.6807 any time!

Why is this thread a "stickie"?

I just read through the entire thread and a lot of people asked questions, and little or no useful information was posted in response.

Other than learning that Lextech has a spreadsheet to facilitate the pin-swap (which is known, from at least one other thread titled "12200411 PCM swap for 1996 to 2000 GMT400 trucks") and that "Mike" (who has been AWAL since 2017) does (did) custom tuning, what's to be gained from this "stickie"?

Valid points IMO, I'll unstick it now. IIRC Mike was a staff member here at one time but as you mentioned he hasn't been here in years.

If any other mods/admins have an issue with this feel free to re-stick it, but I don't see any reason to keep it up.
