New to the forum, tried to navigate around to find what I need but I’m not too computer savvy and couldn’t find any info, so if it’s already been discussed, I apologize.
I have a 1997 Silverado, went to replace blower motor and resistor today and noticed this connector that has been melted. I’m trying to figure out what it goes to so I can get it fixed. It has a red wire and two black wires coming into one side and they come from behind the evaporator box, other side of the connector goes down under the blower motor and through the firewall into the engine bay. I don’t know what it controls, but I do know it still has power to it from the firewall side, I tried to connect the red wire back and it touched the black wire next to it and sent a spark show.
Any help would be appreciated!
