Hello all,
Figured I'd start a build thread for my C1500 build. I picked this up from my buddy's tow shop. It was his shop truck Cheyenne base model 4.3L with 330k miles on it.
I've already swapped out the hand crank windows for power windows and locks. I've restored the dash while it was out. I've restored a 99 escalade console and have a set of 2004 buckets with all new leather covers ready for install.
New carpet and new headliner material is ready for install. I've installed new aftermarket speakers, stereo, and a new amp for the speakers and escalade subwoofer.
I've got the rearend from a 96 Impala with discs and a 2000 5.3L LS from a suburban I'm working on installing. Bell tech drop spindles and 3" lowering spring and the C-notch is done for a 5/7 drop.
I'm almost finished rebuilding the entire front suspension with all new components. Power washed the front framerail, cleaned up and painted. Here's some pics.
