Gonna post here since no reply in electronics. Got the headlight harness from my 96 Yukon switched to the 97 3/4 and I have dash lights and tail lights and markers and signals but no brake lights or headlights. Those who recognize my user Id know I switched entire engine harness fuse box and all from the Yukon iber to the truck. Is there a difference in wiring or do I have a problem elsewhere? All fuses are good and proper ones are in place, can’t seem to catch a break! Also, when turning the signals on they both flash quickly. And the high beam light is illuminated nonstop! Thanks guys! Also can anyone identify these wires and what they would / should be hooked to?

The Scotchlocks (Turkey Pills, Corrosion Magnets) are not original. The short wires they're attached-to maybe went to an aftermarket stereo or remote-start that's since been removed.

Lose the stupid Scotchlocks, verify that the wires they've cut into haven't corroded (good luck) and IF (big IF) the conductors aren't ugly or green, re-seal the insulation with "Liquid electrical tape" or something similar to prevent moisture entry.
