Hot Rod. Point is to induce road shock by committing any free or low buck mod which causes an effect of shock, awe, horror, wonder and envy upon others. Ultimately one goal exists, breaking the law. The law of Gravity.

Hey Bruh, form following function was an old airride truck, felt unsafe, I went static, front had outside coil mounts with approx minus 1.5" drop KYBs, cut coils replaced bags, added new -3" McGaughys into coil mount. Result was a near perfect feeling front end. Just right. I'm 54. Intuitive moreso than scientific. Was a case of maximizing bang per buck. Note: 2" drop spindles+2.25" cut 1.25 coils = 4.25" front drop. No snubs, rolled lips, wells cleared safety snags.

Rear. Same deal. Sought safety of and eeked 1.8" rear pre-slam travel. McGaughys -3" travel into stock mount, insufficient damping for travel. Daily Phoenix driver needed more. Added old -1.5" KYBs into Belltech 2" extenders and used mount pins included with McGaughys dampers by drill and bolt passenger side and stick welded drivers side.

Reason was many fold, cannot C-Notch until gas tank filler neck safety issue solved. Slamming sucks. Had old shocks, was good pre-notch project to become machine intimate. Found rub damaged rear center brake line as example.

In final and pardon post length please - one of my best mods ever. If I had notched I might become a fireball by filler neck...now I can relax because the added damping was "immense" - just additive despite odd angles - part kicker or locater regarding oscillations incurred during road rage ride reduction reality.

It's unorthodox looking and I plan on a full proper suspension all around QA1 - maybe even an IRS fabrication. Looks like prime steel for the imagination, glad I bought it.

There's a big fat gas pipe in the way of my C Notch. Like I need the refrigerator size gas tank man I am about to go back to mustang GTs for my fun. I'm about to sell it.
