The wife always wanted a Suburban so after some looking around we found this one. Her daily driver is the gmc crew cab.

Got it home and after a major cleaning, and troubleshooting I got it to start and run. It had been sitting several years.

We then removed the add-on’s and stripped the wheels

Next we looked for a set of wheels we liked, bought a set of SS wheels but changed our mind and I dug through my wheel pile and put together a set of steelies with different offsets.

The interior was pretty dirty but in really nice shape so I had a guy come out and detail it.

Her next request was she wanted it low, so I ordered 3in DJM control arms for the front and the rear kit. The rear was easy but time consuming. I had to cut off the stock hangers and replace with the new lift hangers and then Install the c-notch.
Front was a cake walk, new 3in arms and I cut a full coil on the factory spring. I will take detailed pictures when I install the helper bags on the rear. While I was under there I detailed the frame and painted it black.

The rear end sits about halfway in the c notch and while i still need this to tow my car hauler or drag boat I bought helper bags and a little compressor

Slowly going through all the parts I’ve been ordering. So far I have managed to drop the tank and install new fuel pump assembly, complete tune up, coil, ignition module, rebuilt the TBI unit and install a stiffer regulator spring. All AC Delco parts.
