Yes my 1 ton crew cab long bed rides terrible, very jouncy(though I think it does need new shocks and that'll help). But after Thanksgiving weekend, when I had ~6-700 pounds of load in the bed and back seat, it rode like a car, almost like a Cadillac compared to how it usually is. So  some of the harshness of the ride is due to the suspension being setup for hauling a load, and having stiffer springs to compensate for the load....

My K2500 'burb rides better than a 3/4t should, honestly it rides better than some 1/2t pickups I've owned. I run Bilstein 4600 shocks all the way around.

You've got other issues, the Monroes up front probably aren't doing you any good either.

Are your torsion bars cranked to level the front out?

My 8 lug burb rides ok but my old K2500 PU rode like shi* I finally lowered the air pressure to 32 in front and 28 rear when i was not hauling anything.
If you're not hauling or towing i would try 32psi all the way around my self.

Yes the higher pressure normally run in a 10 ply truck rated tire does contribute to the harsh ride. However, if you run the pressures too low it will negatively affect tire life.
