1994 k1500 GMC Suburban :
I was told that this unit had the NP 241 transfer case and that the thread size of the shifter ball was 7/16 - 14. Having a bad back and having trouble bending down to shift in and out of 4WD I am looking for a shifter rod extension to get the shifter ball closer to me. With all the "GeezerBurbs" still out there I would of thought this would be a common aftermarket part still avalible but I am having trouble finding one.
My questions are :
1) Is this the right thread size of the stock shifter lever , or is it Metric ?
2) Did they ever make an extension for these levers and if so where would I look .
