94 GMC 6" lift daily driver project

i have a 94 gmc heavy half it has the good ol 14 bolt posi rear coil over shocks and 3:42 gears. i bought it cheap and have been budget building since feb. so far i have put on dual exhaust a 3" suspension lift 3" body lift lund visor tinted windows custom rear bumper and pushbar and probly other things im forgetting. this truck has a lot more id like to do to it starting with more lift bigger tires and a built engine. I also plan on 4:10 gears a detroit true trac locker 6" suspension lift 38s or 40s, im thinking about international harvestor red with black stripes down the hood 3" cowl scoop carb converted ported and polished heads headers true duals 5" tips and more goodies i plan on slappin this ol girl with. Keep checkin up on the big hoss!

They also make the tow mirrors from the newer trucks to fit our trucks now. See my sig. Anything would be an update from those old chrome ones on a wire. Even the newer regular black mirrors. Also the cepek will give you 6.5" full drop but I'm @ 8" with a 1.5" crank it rides better than it did stock. See sig for that as well. I've had it on my truck almost 8 years now no problems.

Well I brought it home lifted in october of 2004. So actually only 7 years next month...I lied. I haven't had 1 problem with the lift. I replaced front end parts bj's, hubs, tierods, when the lift was put on 7 years ago and I just did hubs and bj's again when the 37's went on...That's all she needed and rides better than it did stock. I did wheel it a bit when I was on 35's but not at all anymore unless a buddy needs to be pulled out. Most my friends (Mid 20's) have grown out of wheeling too so it's not like I ever get that call. I think it's pretty good 7 years and limited part replacing.

If you want my truck to be a CC just check out dale gribbles truck on gmfs It's not cepek but it's close with 37's and 20's

them 3 inch susp. lifts are worthless, nothing more then a t-bar crank, could have saved alot of money. I like the truck though the visor and all.
