Does anyone know how the bumper intakes are routed for the diesel bumper? I'm wondering if I can reroute the flow to work better with a standard air cleaner on the 454.

Does anyone know how the bumper intakes are routed for the diesel bumper? I'm wondering if I can reroute the flow to work better with a standard air cleaner on the 454.

They have a plastic air dam behind the holes that just angles it up towards the radiator. There isn't enough room to get a duct in there, without blocking the radiator stack or moving the trans cooler. Besides if you have the factory air cleaner and air duct to the the fender, it pulls cold air from behind the headlight assembly.
