I like how that is done with that frame.
ya it should keep things from buckling in. I saw a few trucks at the junk yard that were bent in half around that area of the frame. probably because of too much weight, but still nice to have the extra support.

I think I would use solid square tubing to brace the chassis like that rather than plating. But I like the idea of it, being able to hose it off after a trail romp is nice.

I'm in the middle of ceaning up the new frame. going to primer it then maybe test fit everything before painting the whole thing. waiting on my 14b sf to get finished with locker/gears, hopefully it's ready this week or next cause my MT MTZ's are supposed to in wednesday. can roll everything around then.

they should stuff nicely when flexed out.

I almost have the frame completely cleaned off and ready to degrease and start primer. I also have the lower half of the engine crossmember cut out last night.

The build is coming along nicely! Did you build or buy the cab mount's? Those are pretty beefy.

Thanks!, getting to close actually being able to my pile of parts all together. A friend of mine built them out of 1/4" flat bar. yeah they are pretty beefy, but the stock ones clearly don't last very long.
