The Stooge Called Slappy: Slappy'sAutoService
Hi everyone,
My truck is a 91 k1500, 350, manual transmission. Truck has a tilt column.
The truck has almost 300,000 miles on it. No issues with the column. Besides the common GM "wobbly column" issue, is there really anything else that can go wrong with these tilt columns? Combo switches were a common issue, ignition lock cylinders can wear out, but what about bearings inside the column or anything like that?
Just curious really.
Thanks,
