88-94 Dash Removal

Hey guys, I was curious if anyone had come up with a DIY for the 88-94 dash removal yet. I have seen the video that commonly gets posted up but was just curious if anyone had done a play by play in write up form. I have an 88 K3500 that I grabbed for parts, it’s a 454 and an SM465, gonna pull the clutch pedal and brake pedal and brackets and the steering column, as I am doing an auto to manual swap in an 89 K2500. Also, I know that there’s a support bracket welded to the firewall for the clutch pedal bracket, but I keep seeing people saying they’ve done the swap without that bracket multiple times and never had a problem. Can anyone confirm?
