I can try and find what I have left in the parts pile and measure it if you want
It's not that big a deal. I'll probably get a 25' roll and a 3' piece for the stretch between the rad and aux cooler. I want to do my oil cooler lines at some point anyways so a little extra won't go unused

Using hose where metal tubing is sufficient, is crazy.

Hose has a shorter service life, is more likely to be damaged by abrasion, is heavier, and more expensive. If this is "steel braided" hose, it's more likely to cause damage to whatever it rubs against, too.

Aluminum tubing is also less than optimum--it's prone to work hardening and then cracking.

Double-wall seamless steel tubing just like OEM, or the more-expensive but easier to work with "Nicop" nickel/copper alloy tubing would be my first choices.

Make sure it's secured well, but with some room to flex as the engine/trans shakes.

At that point wouldn't it make more sense to just go with prebent lines lol

If you can find them if wanting OE they have been long discontinued, and aftermarkets leak because of poor crimps where the metal meet rubber.

Yep, I am doing mine out of a roll of line I have here in my garage with the 6AN compression fittings on one end and the correct trans fittings on the other. The current ones are brake lines lmao, I will also be using 1ft of rubber line with Push Lock 6AN fittings for both lines to the cooler.

When I was piecing together parts for my -6AN transmission cooler lines I was doing it for a 4L80E swap using the OEM radiator cooler and a Tru-Cool M7B which used 1/2" NPT fittings, so I'm really no help with the Imperial cooler you have or the factory AUX cooler. Or the fittings on the 4L60E for that matter. I'll try and list out everything I researched that will be useful to you.

The radiator trans cooler fittings are 5/8"-18 inverted flare, I used these Vibrant Performance 16436 5/8"-18 inverted flare to -6AN adapters.

As for hose I used Russell ProFlex. Probably a little bit overkill but it looks really nice and I haven't had any issues. I bought a 50' roll and ended up using a little over half of it I believe.

All my other adapters and hose ends were Russell as well. Everything went together nicely and the black finish on all the adapters and ends look really nice.

Russell 613165 90 degree swivel -6AN hose end: (I used a ton of these, five to be exact)

Russell 610025 straight -6AN hose end: (only used one)

Also I'm not sure if you meant to type this out the other way around, but in your post it looks like you're talking about running the trans fluid through the AUX coolers first and then the radiator cooler. You'd be much better off running through the radiator cooler first and then the AUX coolers, that way the fluid going back to the trans will be as cool as possible.

Hope some of that is helpful.
Thank you for posting this. Was it 5/8"-18 Inverted flare on both the cooler and transmission side on the 4L80? I was wanting to put in an external trans filter and your post is really helpful.

No, the transmission case fittings are proprietary. One of them extends into the case past the threads. IIRC it may be different on the older 4L80Es, but mine is a '97 and these are what I used.
