I love the dome override feature. Great to be able to have the door open for a while without the lights being on. I use this a lot, loading and unloading my Burb.

2x agreed!! I freaked out at the movie drive in we went to a few years back and my wifes dad had an edge and could not turn off the dome lights. I cant believe some vehicles dont have that feature. Especially an suv or crossover. I love my override feature. Keeps my battery happy

I have the opposite problem in my daily. Cop cars are blacked out, and I haven't gotten around to undoing that feature.

Funny story about dome lights and override. With my K3500 I used to have, for a while I was working graveyard shift, so I swapped out all my dome and courtesy bulbs with red LEDs. My friends *instantly* started calling it the "***** house". But I rather liked the toned down light levels. Plus I did some over the road stuff with her for a while, so it was great for that too.

This morning I removed the left tail light to figure out why the brake light / turn signal wasn’t working on that side, turned out to be a bulb that was loose in its own plastic part.

Then I also had only one cargo light working even though all of the bulbs were new, I pulled that apart and used a pick to move the terminals closer together so the bulb would get a better connection.

Also, a few days ago, I noticed that my marker / running lights weren’t working, bought a new headlight switch Saturday, installed it today and everything now works as it should.
