If you think about fixing it make sure they have a clean title or at least around here its hard to get broken down cars like that with titles. Its crazy how many say lost the title. And the first one I got parts off of didnt have a title. But she also wouldnt sell the whole thing.

"Doesn't run" is good news...... cheaper for you, and you have us, to help you get it running if it's worth it. If it's not worth making it run, you have your parts.

If it’s a cheap fix, I’d be tempted to give it a good cleaning and flip it.

I checked out the Facebook ad. It doesn’t look that bad on the inside and their description of the problem doesn’t sound catastrophic.

I’m also trying to talk the wife into letting me buy this suburban for parts, aiming for the “best offer” part of the asking price lol. This would 100% be everything I need for the power window and lock upgrade…..she doesn’t seem too on board with it….yet

Yeah, you can use a buffer and meguires cleaner wax to buff glass. I just did my bummer diesel wagon that way last week. We have really hard water here and really dirty rain (desert) so eventually the glass needs a good polishing no matter how fast you are with a chamois.

I use a terry cloth type pad for this because despite Faith No More’s suggestion, you don’t want to be aggressive.
