6.5 diesel oil filter

I’m usually running ac delco Mobil heavy duty or k&n what’s the one you think is best?

The full-flow of your choice, along with an additional bypass filter.

Amsoil and Frantz, along with some others sell new bypass filters. I buy "vintage" Frantz filters on eBay. The filter element is a roll of 1000-sheet single-ply azzwipe.

1060 from Napa. Or 51060 if you’re running synthetic oil.

Wix-made filters. Baldwin is good, too.

But are those correct for a 6.5L Diesel?

Surprisingly the turbo diesel does take the 1060 filter.

I'm not a fan of the synthetic filters with anything higher than 0-20 oil--not enough flow.
