Only thing I can say is check the harness. It's easy to pinch a wire under the bell housing. Also check your grounds.

I rechecked the harness, and turns out, the extension harness used on 4x4s was unplugged. Plugged it up and the speedo is working fine, just about 10mph off.

Trigger_guard did you have to use a seperator plate between the block and flywheel? I'm looking at converting my 4l60 to a nv4500

Well it’s been a while but plans have changed. Picked up a 6.0 for it. I’ve always wanted to do this but I’ve always herd that it would be smarter and cheaper to just build the 350 vortec that was in it. But this 6.0 apparently runs and I got it for $300. I’m taking it to the machine shop Tuesday. I’ve never tore into a motor this deep before but I hope if I have questions I can find the answers in this forum.
