4x4 help

I have a 1989 c1500 with a 5.7 350 engine manual 4 speed with 5th for overdrive and I just replaced the actuator on the front axel and my 4x4 will still not work

It goes in gear but when my back tires spin my front tires won't lock they don't do anything
Could I get some help please

I am assuming you meant K1500 and have the manual shift 241 transfer case? Have you verified whether the actuator is getting power? If no power, check the fuse, wiring, and switch on the front of the transfer case.
