Man I was brought up to believe that if you cant lay rubber, something is absolutely wrong! my dad absolutely believes in that and back then they were carburetors... he was constantly tuning them so the vehicles could lay rubber.

my c1500 Sierra with the 343 g80 locking rear end will light up both tires and burn the rubber off em until you let off the gas. it will run through the gears blowing up more and more smoke. LMAO

I have only done that once though. haha

I dont feel like rebuilding the transmission in this sucker yet.... it is original.

EDIT..... OR the rear end! LMAO
I remember setting the timing on a few cars “while” doing a brake burn with friends back in the day.

Starting out in 2nd is a good thing for getting traction in the snow.
My 4l80E in D sets off in 1st (judging by the whine). If I set of with the lever in 2 will it set off in 2nd?
