I just got a 4L60E that I’m starting to rebuild to mate with a Vortec 5.7L, the output shaft has a sleeve on it inside the tail housing, can I just remove the sleeve and use the shaft without it?
My truck doesn’t use the sleeve on my current transmission that I rebuilt last month.
