Well, got as far as I could with the cam swap so I decided to break out some more parts. I can't say enough good things about this wire harness from Mean Green. It's epic, super easy to use, and it works. Hard to beat for sure.

Got it run, put it beside the battery rather than on the inner fender. I though this was the cleanest place to mount it.

Then I finished up the wires and bolted up the new headlights....

Got my new corners installed. Deven tinted a set for me and they look awesome. Go back to the first page and compare these to the old ones.

Here's some previews of things to come in the next few weeks.

The dining room has been converted to the "Parts Room". The wife is not happy.

Nothing too fantastic, but I did make some progress after I dropped my daughter back off at her moms today.

Got the new corners and headlights all done.

Hey guys, so first day back. Got lots done today.

So we got started, tore everything out of the bed. Got all of the bed bolts loose and pulled the rollpan. Then we pulled the bed, that sucked. We had 4 guys on it, so it wasn't that bad but it still sucked.

Here's Robert tearing part of the rear suspension apart.

Then to get the ride height where we wanted but keeping the rear all lined up we found a way to lower it, ratchet straps worked out well.

Then we made some "Suspension Simulators", lol.

There's no give in this thing right now, lol. Also there was a CRAP TON of tension on leaf springs when we let em go, since the suspension was so compressed to reach the correct ride height. No pics of that, it was scurry though, lol.

Then we got all the rear suspension tore off and dropped the fuel tank, and the brace. that is where we wrapped it up for today.

Tomorrow I hope we get all the new suspension tacked up in place and maybe even finish weld some of it. Will also try and tear out the front suspension tomorrow and start on that.

Alright guys, update.

Yesterday was rough, we didn't get much accomplished. I got the front end up and started tearing it apart, but we got stuck as one shock not refuses to come off (open to suggestions on this). Then going around the back we were just moving very slow. We did get one side of the 4 link brackets welded on though, hoping to get everything read and maybe tacked up today.

Here I am getting started in the morning...

Then moving around the back you can see where we tied the frame and are removing the main bracing back there.

Well it doesn't look like much but we did get quite a bit accomplished. Got all the rest of the brackets cut off, everything grinded as good as it's gonna be. Layed out were the other 4 link brackets are gonna go, semi installed the rear sway bar and I may lay out the rest of the rear suspension stuff tonight so we can just set everything up and weld it tomorrow. This is going way slower than I anticipated.

Pics of the work with the rear sway bar mocked up.
