Going to rebuild the TBI on my 1994 GM P-30 chassis motorhome one thing I noticed with the TBI Delco rebuild kit. The base gasket is not shaped the same as the OE one. Does it matter? Also the bakelite spacer/gasket that sits under the regulator housing on the OE one is thicker than the kits replacement one. Does this matter? In the following video (same engine set up as mine) you can see the spacer/gasket in question at 4:09...and also 27:09

I ordered another TBI base gasket off fleabay it a Delco GM-10129565

You may have gotten the gasket for the earlier model carb intake which uses an adapter for the TBI. I'm not sure if using it would cause any issues on a TBI intake, but the bolt holes should theoretically be in the same place

There's a surprising number of TBI base gaskets.

Use the wrong one, and you'll have the potential for a giant vacuum leak.

As for the plastic spacer...re-use the original if you think it's a better deal than the replacement.

Finished the rebuild. I'll post up some pics. I noticed the TBI did not have the thin metal rings at the top side of the injectors that sit under the O-rings. The rebuild kit comes with them. Was there a change to the TBI? Seems the thin metal rings only allow for the O-ring to sit a tad higher in the pod. TBI was very clean inside throughout. The injectors installed are GM 17104288 ACR

Also installed the following:

And picked up a fuel pressure tester kit.
