Also, you're about to get hit with "Why a 305?", repeatedly. Ask around and you can probably score a 350 for free. I did, and I gave it away for free.

I did it in my 99 Tahoe. L31 350 vortec to a cammed L30 305 Vortec. Fresh 305 had more get up and go than a tired 350.
