Are the front and rear shock dimentions the same 1500 2wd vs 2500 2wd? Shocks interchangeable? I ask because I'm looking to replace the shocks on my 1500 for something HD. Thanks

Thanks for resurrecting a 16 month old thread to ask a question better suited to it's own thread.

Go to Rockauto and put in your "year, make, model". Check to see if any shocks are listed for both the 1/2 & 3/4 trucks.

Bilstein lists the same front shock for 1500/2500/3500 and rears are split by 1500/2500 and 3500.

Just caught the title, what I said applies to 4wd. Not sure about 2wd.

I looked at the rules, nowhere does it say not to reply to a thread thats over a year old

Yup, you're good. :waytogo:

I actually had to go look myself... I was thinking "there's no way..."

And I agree, I've actually seen some great info posted as a result of old threads being dug up. That's one of the things I really like about forums as opposed to other platforms like FB for example, the info is much easier to seek out at a later date. Carry on!
