Will i need a different flexplate to install my lq4 from a 2002 sierra 2500 hd that originally had a 4l80e behind it to my 1999 Suburban's 4l60e torque converter?

I though the 99-00 had a longer crankshaft with no spacer? I'm hoping the bolt hole pattern for the torque converter is the same.

Bolt pattern is different. If your engine has a flexplate on it already, then it already has a spacer. You could get a dished 4.8/5.3 flexplate and bolt your spacer on the back side, but it's hard to center the spacer up on the back side of the flexplate. FWIW, I've never come across a single 99-00 5.3 that didn't have both the larger (11.066") and smaller (10.75") 60e pattern holes on the flexplate. I bolted a 98 blazer 4l60e (10.75" bolt pattern) behind a 99 5.3 using the stock flexplate, and one of these:

It all worked very well, probably the cheapest method as well.
