His truck is a Holden suburban, in Australia. They used a reversed S-series dash for whatever reason.

Simple reason was that Blazers dashboards were available in RHD wereas 400 dasboards weren't. And since we all know GM is cheap it's cheaper to adapt something that exists than build new ones only for 1 market. Even if GM wasn't cheap it still makes sense. Notice the grab handles on a pillars-something I wouldn't mind having on mine.

And here I am doing the same. Great write up! Thanks to the OP for doing it. As soon as I saw mine were shot this was my first thought. I even have a donor truck with them in it. But their grey. Bummer
