Hi all. I've read somewhere that late model Blackbox pcm's (mine is a stock 2000 k2500) can be tuned with hp tuners ect. Is this true and would it be worth it or would a 0411 swap be more beneficial?

Yes, you can tune your black box with HP Tuners.

Look here for the 0411 swap. I think he talks about the pros:

Be advised, not everything is defined or defined correctly with the black boxes. Most who get serious with tuning swap in 0411. If you do, you open the door to open source tuning tools that are a lot cheaper, and people are currently working with them. Check out Universal Patcher.

I have Hp on my 98

I run my L31 on a P59 from a 2004 DBC 6.0L. My base file is from a 2005 GMT800 L31.
