I am curious to see how this shakes out and 100% with you on the fact that 1 3/4" primaries are just too damned small for a big block that breathes. I put 1 3/4" primaries on my 5.7L Z06 and picked up power from an idle to redline. For my blown dually with stock heads and intake? Off the shelf shorties and 3" headpipes are on my to do list. I'll live with 1 3/4" myself, but that's because the thing is done before 5000. Here's what I tow, I figure 20,000# GCW give or take. Most of the time I'm locked in OD, but then again I generally don't tow at 80.

While stock SUCKED, it was decent with just a tune. Much more OD and TCC lock with just the tune.
