Wowza! You’re back!

I’m excited to see this take shape. Let me know if you need any of the smaller goodies (I have a garage full!).
I been lurking for a while an just commenting here an there. I had a 95 RCSB for a little while but it was technically my son's truck. We did a bunch of work to it an I was about to LS swap it an he decided he didn't want to wait an traded it off...

That thing was a huge PIMA so I wasn't totally sad to see it go but lost my tail on it at the same time.

Glad to see you're back in a 400; your old green truck was a big inspiration for my K2500!
Can't wait to see how this thing turns out!
Ugh, I still miss that truck. I've tried to get it back 3 different times an get beat to it or it's sold out from under me everytime.

So I was supposed to get some in progress pics from paint but that hasn't happened. I think from the last update it might get painted this weekend. Most of the body work is done an it's in primer. I think he's to the point of painting the back of the new fender an installing it. So for the time being here are some older pics of it...

1st one: My C10 is never on a trailer (I despise them lol) but it had a locked up caliper an all my tools were at my shop.

2nd: still looks cooler than an all this new fangled junk

3/4: a good friend of mine passed away from cancer, an way to young. We helped his wife sell some of his automovtive parts/projects. He had alot of projects an stuff so the dually got put to work, along with our step van. He was a good dude, an the whole situation did an still sucks, I still catch myself thinking I can ask him something because he was so knowledgeable about so many things he just always seemed to have the answer.

I only have 2 I regret letting go. The 98 Z71 an a 03 Mustang GT premium I had in 05 or so. That car was super nice but given the choice between it an the 15 6.4l Charger I have now, I'll keep the Charger lol.

Hopefully the dully takes the sting of the 98 away. I've always wanted a lowered crew dually an it's actually what I got rid of the 98 to try an do, just with a squarebody. At that time in life it just wasn't feasible to try an daily a 454/TH400 truck while working on it. While I like the 73-87 trucks, a 95-00 was always what I really wanted. I love the look of them low an on semi wheels...

Digging the look of the square. Details?

Agreed, but I may be biased...

I am all too familiar with a loss like this. My friend was exactly like you describe, lost him about 18 months ago. Still find myself reaching for the phone to talk with him. We keep his dream alive, but it's not the same without him.
