Dashskin is also glued down now. Plus a couple of the painted dash parts back in.

Exhaust is also completely gone now.

She's up and running now. Pretty loud with the open headers, need to go get the exhaust done asap.

Now I need to swap the transmission and finish up the interior.

Also, this thing rips now. Half throttle feels like full throttle before. Still running a basic maf only tune so I don't wanna push it yet. I'll get it better once I get the exhaust done and wideband reinstalled.

Performabuilt transmission installed. This thing shifts amazing. Very firm and quick. The PWM TCC lockup is deleted on their units, it locks immediately instead of slipping in. I love it.

Now the transfer case was a ***** to wrestle into place. I couldn't see a good way to put it on a jack so I bench pressed it instead.

Exhaust is getting done tomorrow. As much as I love the sound of open headers, it's completely ridiculous and I'm tired of wearing earplugs while I'm driving.

One note with the trick flow narrow body roller rockers. The supplied nuts just barely touch the top of the stock valve covers. I meant to order some shorter crower nuts but apparently I didn't.

Instead I doubled up on the valve cover gaskets with black rtv in between. It gave me the extra clearance I needed without running into the ac bracket.

Exhaust is done!

Now it's time to work on the tune. The guys at the muffler shop were pretty interested in the truck. I offered to take one of them for a ride. Find out this thing will burn the tires all the way until you let out of it, even on the crappy starter tune I have now.

Near 3000 mile trip, done.

I only had one issue during the trip. The supercharger drive pulley decided to separate from the truck while doing 80mph thru South Dakota. Luckily I had a spare. Was putting out 7psi of boost with the 2.75" pulley, only 5psi now with the stock.

I think I'm gonna get an air to water intercooler set up and put a 2.5" pulley on it. Might get my spare whipple rebuilt, ported, and powder coated.

The supercharger whine was much more noticeable with the 2.75", miss it already.

I can't hear djck for blower whine over my exhaust. I have the 2.75" pulley now and hit 140kpa in MI back in July. Mfer ripped hard down there, first time I've ripped off a WOT 3-4 shift and I did it multiple times. Gonna swap to a 2 5/8" pulley on the 1500 and donate the 2.75" to the dually. That'll have both blowers maxed out. I am super jealous of the AFR heads.
