I think if I ever shell the Whipple, it's getting a snail. I got my intake back in 2012, I think I paid $300 for it but these things aren't getting any easier to find.

Yeah. Always wanted a marine intake but could never find one for sale. Settling with 48lb wynnjammer injectors and probably an intake spacer to get better airflow. Also gonna port match the intake to the afr heads Imma get.

In the absence of a marine intake that's the best you can do. I feel like the performance should be similar though.

I guess having said that. . . what's the diff between that proposed setup and a 4 bolt marine intake with throttle body spacer/adapter?

About $1000 cheaper and if I ever want to remove the supercharger it'll be super easy.

In all honesty either intake is easy peasy to remove the blower, but cheaper is always good.
