I’m new to this forum as of yesterday.

I purchased the Intellitronix DP6007 digital dash and I cannot find an image or text on what the wiring colors/labels are for the pinout that’s behind the instrument cluster for the install.

The instructions are HORRIBLE and the customer service is a joke. I just need to know what wires on this pin are for what so that I can splice this digital dash in. I also need to know if I can somehow break the tension on the loom because it only comes out a little but not enough for me to cut and splice. I don’t want to pull things out and mess anything up for myself then on the wires I don’t want to splice this dash in incorrectly and ruin my truck.

There aren’t any videos on this on YouTube so I’m thinking maybe once I get the info and start the install I’ll make one, if you help you’ll get a shoutout!!!

I would check the '98 GM factory service manuals if you haven't already. I'd imagine the connector pinout is in there somewhere. The '98 manuals are available to download here in PDF form for free.

Thank you so much, I appreciate that. I’ll look into it… Is there anyone on here who has it installed already that can give me some pointers before I start cutting and soldering?

Looking forward to seeing some update pics on that cluster, maybe even some progress pics. Was just looking at the same cluster, let me know how it does.

Did you have any issues with mounting the gauges? I cut the dash like in the instructions but gauges still won’t sit flush.
