I just bought a 1998 C1500? 4X4 Suburban. 6-inch lift kit, Rancho in the front and Pro Comp in the rear. Pro Comp wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. I like it pretty well. It need some amenities but seems to be a solid good running rig for $5000.

Thanks. I hope to run fire roads out west no serious 4X4. I will use it for towing a boat and rental tractor implements, again, it is not taxing.Solid deal sir, always wanted a Burb. No Idea what your intentions are with building it or enjoying it but if you plan on wheeling it ditch those rear traction bars unless you are putting down some serious HP. They will hang up on obstacles with that wheel base. Nice Truck man
