I don’t disagree that it’s clean. It’s just odd that a basic suburban commands that price. Not hating on it by any means.
The more time passes, the less of them we'll see with "low" (for the year, absolutely low) miles, clean interiors, clean paint/body.. those are the reasons I'd consider it's worth anywhere near what they're asking.

20 years ago, I'd look at that truck and think 5K was a high price, 4K closer to reality. -20- years ago.

Dealers always have financing, financing always drives prices up.

119 a month for 87 months is much easier to swallow than 10.5k for a 30 year old, half ton, 2wd, barely modern SUV.

I would be happy to get $4K for my 1997 K1500 4WD. Runs great and has had a lot of work done on it to make it mechanically sound. I just put new tires on it, too. Sorry, no pix, as it is kept at my mountain cabin in Jonas Ridge, NC. PM to chat. Or call or text 704-617-1992 Gary

Not allowed to post something for sale(yet)…especially with your first post. Not saying you’re not legit, and giving your phone number isn’t a good idea either.

I found a 2002 GMT800 Suburban, 4x4, L31 350, LT trim, clean, leather, like 80K miles for $5K. I love the GMT400s but the interior plastics and a lot of other trim hold together much better on the GMT800s.

Actually owned a 2003 8.1L 2500 Suburban for a couple years that I bought for $5K with less than 100K and put 70K on it while I owned it. People did not want the 8.1L about 5 years ago, but given what they have done emissions wise to newer diesels now they command steep prices. Simarly early Duramax, Ford 7.3 diesels and Cummins 5.9L trucks with loads of miles sell for rediculous prices compared to 5-10 years ago.

Recently purchased a 170k mile 2005 8.1 Avalanche for $8500 because I couldn't find a reasonably priced crewcab pickup. Needed a tow vehicle. Can't beleive the prices that big block trucks are commanding!
If I were in the market for a big block now for a tow rig, I would not overlook a big block van. Actually came close to buying a 2000 Express 3500 Regency conversion local with a good running 454 and 4.10 G80 rear making it capable of towing 10K with 120K miles for $2,750 a while back. I had just put my 383 van back on the road. If it had been an 01-02 with an 8100 I would own it too today. Also saw a 95 or 96 G30 recently for sell with the engine listed as a V8 but it was 454 powered, the giveaway on a 454 G-van is the factory electric pusher fan on the condenser.
