Ok. So the master pro didn’t fit, so I returned it and got a moog hoping it would. No such luck. There is the slightest rattle coming from the gear box shaft. Maybe I need to replace the gear box?

I eventually got it on, to dark to get a pic though. I'll get one tomorrow after I get it aligned. Too bad I'm gonna actually have to get rid of this thing in the next year. I've put a lot of work into it. So far I've done motor mounts, trans mount, starter, wheel cylinders, slave cylinder, rear main seal, clutch, flywheel, radiator, alternator, idler, pitman, all tie rods & one sleeve, headlights, rear kicker speakers, igniton lock cylinder. I got it after it had sat almost completely dormant for four years so I've done four oil changes in 4k miles(and its still dirty). Flushed the coolant system multiple times. New trans fluid when I did the clutch. I also got in a wreck and had to replace the passenger fender, core support grill, headlights(again).

On k models no tool works but this one, due to limited space.
On c models maybe you can use something else. And the tool near the cat is for removing the pitman from the steering gear.
Snap-On makes a low profile pitman arm puller for our K-trucks. I've had it for years. Gotta detach the box from the frame, but it works very well

Arm from the gear box... it's a low profile puller. Yeah, you need to remove the arm from the centerlink first and I haven't had many problems with a pickle fork and a good ole BFH
