so i have recently bought a 94 c3500 dual wheel cab and chassis, 350 4l80 truck. the cabs in fair shape needs rockers and cab corners but the floors are solid, the fenders aren't the best but im going to use it to pull a trailer with the tractors and racecars on it so it doesn't have to be pretty.
currently it doesn't run but fires on starting fluid the person i bought it from said she thought the fuel pump was out and it never got fixed, parked it in 2010 with 68k on it it was the back up truck for her food truck business so it just sat. it has no fuel at the TBI unit but it started on starting fluid and was not locked up. i should have it home tomrow so i can start cutting the big stainless catering body off the back. the goal is a flatbed with a regular hitch and a goose neck.
After that long winded rant my question is dose anyone here know what this thing theroetlicly could tow. most of what i find is for the regular c3500 not the chassis cab trucks. i do know based off of my vin decoder it has the rpo C7A 10000 gvw.

Im sure it dose. For as bad as the rest of her fleet is best up this ones not nearly as bad so i bet the sticker is intact . I didnt take a picture of it but i should have the truck today. I also forgot it has the original gm incomplete fleet vehicle book in the glovebox. I dont even have access to that and i work at a gm parts department

Cool project post lots of photos!
once i get it home and get the old companys names off the doors i will its pretty ugly right now but i think it will clean up half decent. kinda looking forward to stripping the catering box. it has alot of neat shelves and stuff in it. one bay has a 4 foot tall propane coffee maker the thing has to hold like 30 gallons.

Do you have a sticker in your door jam still? GCVW rating is gross combined, so that can tell you what you can tow, minus the weight of your truck.
so trucks home now but there is no sticker on or in it with the ratings on it... i thought it should have one but theres not even a spot where it looks like it was...
